Reference Library

The research library contains approximately 40,000 publications on 55 Subjects. Rare publication of pre 1947 period contain Report, Act, Gazetts of various states, Resarch Journal & magazines and Administrative Reports. Most of them are important reference books, State Administrative Reports (1900-1947), Parliamentary debates, Historical Journals, Census reports (1891-1971), Proceeding of Round Table Conference Reports, Chamber of princess, Famine Reports, Revenue and Settlement, Political Administration Reports (1867-1904) & state Gazette, much stress is put on purchasing historical books. Under this activity the records are arranged in the same sequence as received from the erstwhile state of Rajputana. These records are listed, arranged & indexed. The descriptive lists are also prepared for Research Scholars. The location charts giving the details of Stack, Rack, Shelves etc. are prepared. Which facilitate us in tracing out the record easily. Beside these some other finding aids are also prepared.
