Archives department has initiated the work of Digitizing valuable record from 2006. Digitization will be helpful to public in quick retrieval of record as well as issuing copies. The process of digitization will enable to preserve the old and fragile document for a longer period. Record related to land grant in Bikaner has already been digitized.It contains almost 3.25 lacs pattas and 34 lacs historical documents of Bikaner division has been digitized. beside that 7.5 lacs pattas of Jodhpur divison, 3.5 lacs historical and revenue documents of Alwar has been digitized

Digitized copies of the Patta record of Bikaner division (Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar & Churu districts) are being issued since 2010. Alwar and jodhpur branch offices are also going to issue digitized copies of the state records, patta and registry records rare documents of esteemed archival value has digitized.

Shortly these digitized records will be available online. It will be very useful to both public and research scholars. it will help them in their research work. 12th Finance commission sanctioned 2.34 crores for digitization & microfilming which resulted in digitization & microfilming 50 lacks of pages.
